Why you must have to visit Annapurna?

Drive from kathmandu by 200km to reached Pokhara. Pokhara is the starting or finishing point for some of the best trekking in Nepal and the long Annapurna Circuit trek is the most popular trek in the country. The reasons for the area's popularity are numerous but topping the list is convenience. You can start your trek from Pohara-there's no long, uncomfortable bus rides or flights to the starting point. Also, because the Annapurna Range is so very close to Pokhara. you are in the mountains almost immediately.

The treks in this part of the country offer a grate deals of cultural and geographic diversity indeed the Jomsom and Annapurna Circuit trek both go to the north of the Himalayan watershed, into the dry desert area which is properly similar to Tibetan plateau. The Annapurna Sanctuary trek takes you right in among the mountains of the Annapurna Range to the Machhapuchhare base camp. This trek takes about 10 day. The Jomsom Trek takes about seven days in each direction, but it is possible to fly back to Pokhara form Jomsom. Most trekkers continue a day farther to the holy temple of Muktinath. Finally, the Annapurna Circuit takes a full three weeks and completely encircles the Annapurna Range. The last seven days of the circuit walk form Muktinath to Pokhara are the same as the Jomsom trek, but in reverse. Annpurna Range is the centre for all these Pokhara treks. For most of Nepal's length, the Himalaya form the border between Nepal and China. The Annapurna mountains are different in that the border is well to the north so the Jomsom and Annapurna Circuit trek both go north of the Himalayan watershed, into the high altitude desert which is characteristic of the Tibetan plateau.
