Langtang Gosaikund Trek 14 days
The
Langtang Valley is located some 30km (19 miles) directly north of Kathmandu,
close to the boundary with Tibet. Extending in an east-west
direction, it is
bordered on the north by the main crest of the Himalaya, dominated by Langtang Lirung (7,245m) the highest peak in the area. To the south are the
Chimse Danda ridge, crossed by Ganja La pass (5,122m) and the Jugal Himal
culminating in Dorje Lakpa.
From here we further trek to the
sacred Gosainkund lake situated at an elevation of 4336 meter and to Kathmandu
via the lovely Helambu region.
