this ancient town is situated 30km east of Kathmandu on the side of the

religious shrines of Muktinath are about 90m above Ranipquwa. Muktinath is an
important pilgrimage place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Situated in a grove of
trees, the holy shrines at Muktinath (relief from pain or you want) include a
Buddhist gompa and pagoda-style temple of Jiwala Mayi, containing an image of
Vishu.
